I have just come back from IOA, and i have to say i dont think Spiderman was all it cracked up to be. I qued (sp?) for an hour and a half to ride it thinking i was going to be going on the best ride in the park, but when i got off i thought to myself that wasn't worth it. Don't get me wrong Spiderman is still an amazing ride and by far the best simulator ever created, but i still don't believe that it deserves the title "best ride in the park". Mybe if the que was shorter i would have enjoyed it more, and maybe i expected too much.
Another thing i'd like to say is about the Hulk. This is probably the best coaster i had ever ridden, the launch is just unbelievable. But don't you think that towards the end the excitement sort of wears off abit. Any comments ?

I'm not sure Spiderman is the best ride in the park either, but I absolutely loved it. I rode it more times than any other ride in the park, but that is mostly because I first rode it alone while my brother and sister in law went off with their son and my mother and father shopped. Then I rode it with my brother two times, and finally my sister-in-law wanted to go and asked me to go with her. The longest line that I waited in was fourty minutes and it was well worth it.
I think that the ride gets so much attention because there is nothing else like it in the world, while Dueling Dragons and Hulk (although unique) have similar rides at other parks.
Spiderman is a good ride, but for waiting for an hour plus it is not. Everytime I have been there I have waited more than an hour and forty-five minutes.

"FEAR the Four!"
It's a great "experience"... and so far, truly unique in the world. It can't be compared to a coaster, honestly. It's just an amazingly fun experience . I've done it 50x plus and have yet to tire of it.
As for long lines, season & multi day pass holders can ride it between 7am -10am with no lines at all.

When I went to IOA they Universal Express passes so I got to ride it with no line. Personnally I didnt think the ride was that great but it was ok. It was better then the other simulators then I rode.
And Hulk has a awsome beginning but after the second loop the ride gets boring.
Another thing that i really didn't like when i went was that, i bought a 2 day express card so i could skip the ques (sp?), but when i get in there i find that you can only use it once on each ride. Although this was annoying the worse was yet to come, when i finally reached Spiderman at around 9:30 am it had a sign up saying that you could not use your express card as the line is full, now is it me or does any one else think this is a bit of a con ?
Paul
Well I got the express card and was able to use it on every ride opened as many times as I wanted (Hulk, DD, Raft Ride, Log Flume). When I went to Spiderman they said I could ride express for 1 hour and 30 mins from the time they wrote on the card.
Paul: I can kinda relate to what you are saying. However, most of the rides that I went on during the morning semi-ERT did not check off on the card. In fact the only one that did was Dr. Doom. But I did too run into the "Universal Express has reached capacity" sign on Spidey and was more than a little peeved (but the standy by line wasnt but about a half hour so I got over it quickly).
Hey if you want a good tip, stay at there hotel(Portofino)all u do is show the attendent your room key and they let u go up the exit and right onto the ride.It was the greatest thing.Although you can only use it till noon. That still gives you plenty of time to ride everything multiple times.
Yes, that is a good idea but it doesn't come cheap either.
Paul
Spiderman is the greatest non-coaster ride I have ever been on. If it's running fully it is truley awesome. When I went last January they let me on as many times I wanted with the 2-day pass.

#1 IOA
#2 BGW
#3 Cedar Point
Meaning all the effects are working and nothing goes wrong and you don't stuck on the ride for a couple minutes.
