Is Six Flags, Inc. Renaming The Hyper Coaster?

I Was looking at the Nitro facts on the back of my on-ride photo. It states: {Coaster Type - "Mega"+200 feet}. Also, on the SFGAdv commercials, they call it the all-new mega coaster. Is this the beggining of a new Name for Hypers?
Well, Hypers were always called Megas, I think... the are the same thing.

I know on Superman: Ride of Steel, intamin calls it a "Mega-coaster" on the little plaques on each train... but on the photo thing I believe they call it a hyper.

Mega has always been associated with 200+, but somehow "Hyper" jumps out at me as being a really long and high so-called "speed" coaster, dunno.

mega sounds tall and really long. most regular hyper coasters aren't like that

B&M calls them mega-coasters. It just illustrates my point that debates over what you should call them are pointless and a waste of time, because it's all about marketing.

How do you know it's not true? The initial drop is rumored to be 254 ft. and the terrain in that area that was proposed is 50 below the peak, and ever heard of tunnels? It's rumored to have 4 tunnels, this is from a very reliable source, the same source that knew about X-Flight. So i think you should hold your lip shut til it's announced. And yes it has been approved, how do i know, read my sig.

Rumors can sometimes be entertaining, but when people start talking about them as solid fact, that's when flame wars start. So sure, HurricaneGeauga, if you want to believe that, fine. But don't go shoving it down other people's throats, alright?
