Is SFGADV really THAT bad?

My girlfriend and I had an awfull experience at great adventure. I will keep this short, had 3 paragraphs. This was over 2 days. So they werent having a bad day.

My complaints about the park are.

qbot management is awfull. ride ops typically run the qbot lines too, so rather than load and send off trains, they are arguing with qbot people.

Ride operations are slow. Stacking 3 trains on all the major high capacity rides. Nitro ( was good one day, bad the next ), medusa and bm:tr all stacked 3 trains every cycle. See above for main reason.

They dont show you the entire que until youve waited awhile. SM had a 4 hour wait, but a 2 hour wait time posted and a gigantic wall is in front of the que.

little things that pushed us over the edge.

We couldnt find the entrance after parking.

we had a hard time finding our way around, especially the sm / gamsm midway to the frontier town area. We couldnt find the season pass entrance either, after we came in that way. Asked an employee where it was and he took us to the front entrance.

The park has great coasters, medusa and nitro are two favorites now and the park was actually fairly clean. But it would take something major to ever get me to make the trip back there.

GAdv has great steel coasters, but a terrible, line cutting crowd.

btw-I personally like S:UF better than Nitro and BTR (call me crazy if you want). *** Edited 12/5/2003 10:56:26 PM UTC by person***
