Is RebelYell at PKD the same as the racers,at PKI?

I was just wondering since both coasters seem to preety much have the same features? I only got to ride the backwards side of Rebel yell,and I has such a good time,and i couldent help ,but sing Billy idols Rebel yell while on the ride, and droping backwards was preety intense.its a sahem they wherent racing the traisn when I was there.

Nope, they are different. If you look at pictures of them you can tell how they differ.

No where close to each other, nothing to do with each other.

I beg to differ. They're very similar. The only really significant difference is that PKI's ride has the two sides flare out at the turn around.

From the pictures I've seen Jeff is right. I think they followed the same blueprints of The Racer when they made Rebel Yell, but they didn't make the two sides split at the camelback. From what I've heard, RY has some sharper drops, but The Racer feels like the faster and better ride.

The racer is a much better ride..I have taken a ride on both and I like Racer a hella lot better..much more faster and intense on the drops (backwards)

Rebel Yell "back in the day" was a really good ride....it's no surprise to me that PKI's has held up better over the years....woodies at PKI are routinely maintained, even upgraded *cough* Sonny.....those at PKD aren't treated quite as well. But the park in the chain with the serious lack of decent wood, far and away, is PGA - not even one *decent* woodie in the place....IMO.

Rollergator, you don't even need the IMO because that is pure truth, Grizzly is far from halfway decent.

Now, what about Thunder Run?

I think they also differ because the racer had its final bunny hill taken out due to FOF.

I personally liked Rebel Yell better.....

I found the Rebel Yell to be a much rougher ride than the Racer.

Racer is a lot better IMO.

Racer had a bunny hill taken out due to Flight of Fear? What is the circumstances regarding this? Just out of curiousity..
