I was wondering if montu is the only invert to do 7 inverions, i figured there has to be another one out there.

Actually, Montu is the only B&M Inverted Coaster to do 7 inversions. It is the exception to the rule, as many of the larger inverts have 5 or 6 inversions. As for other companies, I'm not totally sure.

I am fairly sure that it is the only one with 7 inversions.  I can't think of one from any other company with that many.

Viper isn't an inverted coaster, man.  There are many regular coasters that have 7 loops, bup only one inverted.

For a while I thought Pyrenees in Japan had 7 inversions. Had a close look, it has 6 not 7.

It would be great to see an Invert with 8 inversions or more. I wonder what other new inversions B&M can come up with. While not new for other styles, how about Incline & Diving Loops on Inverts?

All I know is that Montu can mess you up so royally on a good day you can't count to seven! Gotta love that ride.

Plese read the thread more carefully. We are talking about INVERTED coasters, not regular loopers.

Taipan - I am fairly certain that Pyrenees is more or less a clone of Raptor but with 2 loops instead of 2 corkscrews, and a added Helix after the Cobra Roll,so it does actually have 6 inversions(2 loops,Cobra roll, Inline,Corkscrew)

But, You are right, Montu is(At the moment anyway) the only inverted with 7 Inversions

You know what's funny.  Wild Adventures' web site says that Hangman (their inverted coaster) has 7 inversions.  I find that quite amusing considering it only has 5 (like most Vekoma inverts do).

Wow, I just realized Alpie only has 6 inversions. I always thought it had 7 and Montu had 6. Well, now I know

Yeah, when I got off of Montu for my first time, I tripped and almost fell flat on my face because I was soooooo disoriented.  I couldn't figure out which direction I was going while on the ride.  I have it as #3 on my top ten.
