Is Holidy World worth coming from Texas to go?

If you are only going to go to Holiday World I wouldn't make the trip. Don't get me wrong it's a great little park, but I would hit a few of the neighboting parks. Legend & Raven are my top 2 woodies.

Well, it's an awfully small park. $26 is basically for 2 nice sized woodies, and some various other small rides, and free beverages. If you go up that way, you might as well take a full trip through the 3 main Ohio parks...

From what I have heard I wouldn't go to SFO.

I went to SFO and CP in mid July this year DURING the week and I thought both parks were good! We spent 1 night and the next day/night in CP. The next morning we got up and drove like 1 1/2 hours, went to Sea World (which is right by SFO) and then to SFO. By 7:00PM that night we had seen both parks! Rode the 5 big rides in SFO, in like 2 hours time! I think it was worth it! But, that's just my opinion of those 2 parks...I've never been to Holiday World.

Holiday World is a fantastic little park, and the two woodies there are absolutely outstanding. That said, Kentucky Kingdom, such as it is, is only an hours' drive from there; Kings Island is another hour from there; Cedar Point is three hours from there, and Six Flags Geauga Lake is an hour away from there.

Or, going the other way, Holiday World is only a few hours from either Indiana Beach or Six Flags St. Louis.
