Hmmmm.
no current plans for live animals in Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom……

Disney Legend and former Imagineer Joe Rohde has addressed one of the most common questions about Tropical Americas: will the new land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom include live animals? In a comment on Instagram, the retired Imagineer said there are no current plans to include them. Rohde said that Disney built the project’s budget around a remodel, not a from-scratch land. Rohde said the driving business priorities center on rides, not habitats, though he still believes animals belong in the land’s future.
The topic title feels like linkbait. That area didn't have animals before, so it's a strange starting place to say "OMG no animals!"
AK is one of the finest zoological operations in the world. That's not going to change anytime soon.

Are those questions or statements? No one knows what you remember other than you.
The animals keep having babies, they keep taking in animals from other AZA-accredited institutions, often for the various species survival plans. If you're paying attention, they're doing the opposite of "getting out of the business." They have all of the usual categories of habitats and animals, except for an aquarium (which is at Epcot). What would they even add?

I don’t remember seeing any live animals in DinoLand? But some comments I’ve seen online say it did?
You never saw the live Iguanodon after the exit of Dinosaur? You missed out!
Jk of course, but I do know at one time Dinoland had an alligator habitat and there may also have been a tortoise habitat at one point as well.
They had a crocodile display there at one time. Not sure why they can’t move the capybaras from the oasis to the new area though.
