Is Anaconda fun?

It's not a coaster that is mentioned that much so I was wondering if it's looks are deceiving.

It looks good, with the exception of an ugly break run. I've ridden it once. I don't know if I'd get on again.
Was it rough?

PKD or Gold Reef City in Africa?
Rough may be a good word in a way, but it seemed to take my breathe away, almost pressure me bad around the shoulders, you know? That ride just doesn't do something right, if you know what I mean. It's undescribable. It's not headbanging, though, or least it wasn't for me.

There is only rough moment during the butterfly turn. If you know when it is, you can brace yourself, and the rest of the ride is smooth. I personally love it! It's a mix between an Arrow corkscrew and an Arrow megalooper, with some new elements, and placed completely over a lake. The tunnel is like the finishing touch! I had a great time on it and rode it 3 times.
My family and I enjoyed Anaconda at PKD very much.  In my opinion, it's much better than Vortex at PKI.
While I'm not a big fan of Arrow loopers, Anaconda may be the best of them.  Not as much a head banger as some and an interesting ride.
Well, yes, it's a roller coaster, and no, it's not Cedar Point's Iron Dragon.

Ergo, it IS fun.

No.

I thought it was cool, the "underwater" part could've used bigger fountains IMO.  I really only had an "issue" with the one element right after the brake run, that was where I got banged.  I like coasters over the water, though, and the name fits the location, etc...

Among Arrow loopers, it's not bad. It has the same problem that many of the seven-loop cousins (SFGAm Shockwave, SFGAdv Scream Machine) have: Really rough transitions in and out of the mid-course.

Watch the grass grow!

I though just being over the lake enhanced the ride a lot.

I dont like it; it gave me a headache
I really liked this coaster, it didn't seem rough to me. The sidewinder is a really neat inversion the and the back to back corkscrews at the end are pretty disorientating. I rode it four times and I didn't feel like I was banged around at all. The mid-course transition is not great but if you brace for it no big deal. The back was much better than the front IMO.
i agree with Jeff....rough transitions, including that famous "bottom of the butterfly".....its funny you asked this SFMWManiac, cause i believe of all the coasters on my track record, Anaconda is probably the one ive ridden the most....most times it has a VERY SHORT line, if any...one night in particular me and a buddy got 21 rerides in the second to last row....no kidding!!!  yes...i was VERY ill afterwords :)  a few tips..keep your head back tight, the positive gs in the first loops are tight....at teh bottom of the butterfly, hold your neck muscles very tight, and you wont get banged....oh...and for an added thrill, the back car gives killer whiplash on the first drop...even before you leave the chain!!  thats all ill say..have fun at PKD :)
