I'll answer this one simply as I can. I have rode 3 of the US rockets, Top Thrill Dragster, Kingda Ka and Storm Runner. Of the three I prefer Storm Runner. Height is fun. But give me the whole package that is SR. Launch into a small tophat then flipp you over 4 times and add in an awesome head chop from the monorail. That's a ride. And what is the height of Storm Runner, under 200'.

Like has been said before Bigger isn't always better.

I agree that Storm Runner is great. Besides, the launch gives you the same sensation as TTD, sure it doesn't go as fast, but that initial burst of speed is incredible. The rest of the ride is pretty good too. Too short though.

My girls ride a 207-foot tall hyper whenever they wanna, an Impulse whenever they wanna and it's no big deal.

Hades scared the crap outta BOTH of them. On the lift hill. Never mind the drop.

It's not the height--it's what you do with it.

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

Not now, but I'd say give it another 20yrs or so. Remeber it was only just 29yrs ago when 110ft was considered giant and behemoth:

Got loops nowadays that dwarf Eagles once record setting height, I could totally see a day when hypers will eventually be considered medium sized coasters.
