IOA vs CP

IOA has the themeing, while CP has the coasters. What park do you think is better?

4)Kraken

I think that you should read the rules and pray that the mods don't ban you permanently from this forum.

Maybe if you wanted to discuss "Theming vs. Thrills" it would be more appropriate ??

For the love of God......

Well I love chocolate cake because it is so rich and the icing is so sweet. It's totally better than Eggo Waffles. Sure they're good and all, but chocolate cake is SO much better.

Learn how to spell Millennium Force.

4. Unacceptable topics of discussion:
The Coasterbuzz forums are dedicated to foster the discussions of roller coasters and the amusement park industry. Sometimes topics are brought up that are not in anyway related this. These topics are deleted, because there are other places on the Internet to discuss these off-topic subjects. We don't talk about world peace or curing cancer here, we talk about coasters (unless of course the peace or cancer is related to coasters). If you choose to talk about something not related to the subject matter of the forums, there are plenty of other sites on the Internet that will satisfy your needs. Examples of other unacceptable topics are those that lack merit (a 700 foot tall coaster with 19 inversions is being built at…), topics that have been brought up numerous times in the past (Cedar Point is running out of room… Superman: the Escape is not a coaster…), constant speculation about what [your park here] is going to get next year, questions that have no real answers (what are crowds like at... what will that park build...) and threads that contain best... favorite... top 10... worst... versus... most... are simply not interesting to read by anyone other than the person who started the topic. Don’t be surprised if these get closed or deleted as well. If your topic has any word ending in "-est," think twice about posting it. We also dislike anything along the lines of "first post" or an announcement about the number of posts you've made. It's not the quantity, it's the quality that counts.

They are two different parks. IOA is more of a theme park, which is high on theming. Whereas CP is more of an amusement park.

If you read the TOS, it says no VS topics. So, this topic will probably be closed soon.

Bye Bye topic. Seriously though, you are trying to compare two totally diffeent things.

Miami sucks, there are no coasters. Just beaches.

I love the colonel's SWEET HONEY BBQ CHICKEN.

TOS! IT's Up up up OUTTA HERE GONE!

Some of you people here really suck. Before an interesting thread gets flamed, you are all like "TOS". If the topic is not getting deleted immediately, TOS my ass. While I agree that the Terms of Service are important to keeping this site's formality, I also think that threads like this shouldn't be closed unless there is a problem. And you guys wonder why topics are repeated, there are simply no more to start if a big chunk of all possible ones are banned.

Some "vs" topics can be interesting because it lets you see a variety of perspective BUT, some people just have to be immature about it and make stupid comments.

Seriously though, there is no way you can compare these two parks- one has classic rides and is dedicated to service, the other is a fairly newcomer that is fitted with some of the best technology there is. Even though I have never been to the Point, I would say they're both awesome.

But there's a problem this thread isn't interesting.IMO There's nothing to compare. IOA Isn't a thrill park simply put. That's like comparing cofee and bread. They simply don't relate.

Edit: Also the Cp fanboys will launch kamikazee posts against anyone who disagrees with them.

Threads are also repeated because sometimes you get up to 100 pages of search results, but thats not the point.

Apperintly you aren't very new to the forums, either. After 20 plus posts you should get an idea of how the forums are run and the type of discussion that is here on the site. Something like this though is just a flame war waiting to happen.

The top 3 all time cobrarolls.

1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's

Come on i thought this was a coaster board?!?!

After all it's the debates that are interesting to partake in and read; not, "wow the top part of the Space Spiral was open today!" If you don't like it don't read it, and certainly don't post. I mean come on folks, can't we express our opinions around here without fear of someone bunching up their little.... er well, i get caried away. Anyway, i like this topic, and any topic where people throw around opinions. And opinions are like rear ends; if you claim you don't have one, then you're full of it.

Ahhhh finally truth in advertising.

Edit: If I don't like it and it is against the rules then I can say whatever I want. It's Just going to be closed anyway. ;)

ah back to topic, (just wanted to get that in before the closing). Anyway, I prefer CP over most any park. Quantity and quality are a hard combination to find in the world. After all it is the coasters that i travel for. I do like to see a properly themed park (especially with all these sorry examples in Ohio), but that's the beauty of CP, they don't try to be what they aren't.

CP is a shot of whiskey. IOA is a pretty frozen daiquiri.

Next?
