IoA room key - CoasterBuzz

Does anyone have room keys for the Portifino or Hard Rock hotels they would like to sell?

But it doesn't matter because all of the keys have dates on them and they check them. well some people check the dates

I didn't know they checked the dates. That sucks! Two hundred bucks for a room is a little steep just to get to the front of the line.

i was there the other week and getting to the front of lines was worth the money for staying at an onsite hotel. I would get there early just to get on the front of Hulk and then take my time through Seuss and Lost Continent to get to Dueling Dragons which doesn't really get a line till 11 and on. I was totally stress free about getting on rides, it was awesome.

Most of the people at the park don't check the keys but the random jerk does.

how do you use, because I'll be staying in the portifino in a few months.

you have to buy a park ticket still but if you go to the parks you just show your room key and you are put to the front of the line. Your party won't get broken up but you don't get a choice on a seat. This feature with the room keys is so cool.

I have one. But if you are looking for it to use at the park.. thats why they have the date on it. mine is from hard rock. But i'll sell it to you anyway! lol just kiddin *** This post was edited by SonOfBeastRules on 8/1/2001. ***

If you need it for a room, you can't use it because they change the locks. But for Express ticket, the date issue might or might not be a factor. Some employees seemed to stufy your card while others just glanced at it for a split second.

just show the room key to the attendent at the gate of whatever ride u go to. They accept it at all that have the Fast Pass or whatever it is called there. They will tell u where to go, and u show it to the people there to.

So, would any of you like to get rid of your out of date keys? I'm willing to give it a try.

My brother has one but I don't know where he put it.

I believe what you're doing is called cheating the system. To get express on all rides, you must stay at an on-site hotel.

As for using the Express pass, I must say it's great. Like what ditto_716 said, you can be totally stress-free about riding rides.

Sorry buddy, but you will have to pay the price if you want to use the Express pass.
