IOA questions

Does this park have long lines? If I were to travel from Ohio to go there would it be worth it? if I go how many days should I go for? What are everybodys top 5 list of favorite rides there?
Thank you very much!
I live in Ohio and I say the IOA is worth every bit of what you pay. The lines aren't that bad but sometimes it is on the Hulk. The Dueling Dragons only take about 30 minutes each, a few more for the front.(now that's worth it!) When I went, I got to do everything I wanted to do if not twice. My list is

1.-Incredible Hulk
2.-Fire Dragon-(a bit more intense to me)
3.-Ice Dragon
4.-Jurassic Park River Adventure
5.-I would guess Dr. Doom's Fearfall, though it was down when I went
don't forget spiderman, or dudley do-rights ripsaw falls.
I am from NC and I have been to IOA twice, i reccomed you going to the park. the second time i went to the park i was staying on site so i had the whole room key thing but the first time i went i still got on all the rides i wanted to get on. Incredible Hulk, Dr. Doom, and Spiderman have the longest lines and Dudley Dorights is deceptively long(winds around in building)
My top 5 rides? that is hard, i guess
1.Fire
2.Ice
3.incredible Hulk
4.Jurrasic park river adventure
5.Spiderman
But Dudley Do-Right, Dr.Doom, and Popeye and Bluto's Bilge rat Barges are rides you don't wan't to miss. If you aren't staying on grounds, you need to get to the park before it opens and go straight to Incredible Hulk, Dr.Doom, and Spiderman and get Universal Express Passes for all of them and then go to Dueling Dragons, there probably won't be much of a crowd over there if you walk fast. Then you should walk through Jurrasic park and Toon Lagoon going on the water rides.
If you want repeat rides on the Hulk you can use the single riders line. If you are staying on grounds, well then have a great time going on all the rides you want but get there early for front and back seats.
The only advise I have for you is about the Hulk. You don't even need an Express pass, because, if you are lucky, the employee that puts you on the ride asks "how many are in your group" in the SINGLE RIDERS lines. Just hope you get that guy. ;)
Make sure you get on Dueling Dragons and Hulk first. Then, once you gotten the three rides down, go for Spiderman.

Top 5 Coasters:

Sorry, all the IOA rides are great. they all tie for #1. I'd say stay for 3 or 4 days (stay at Hard Rock or Portifino for No Line No Wait if you have the money cause you can also get a "length of stay" pass in a package deal with the hotels)
umm i went there one day and did everything more than once, to the point where there wasn't anything else left to do. i even went on that stupid triceratops adventure thing to kill some time (wait was 0 minutes on that thing :) )

best rides,
ice
fire
hulk
dr. dooms
and dudley dooright

aim for backseat on all three coasters.
definately get fastpasses for dr doom's and spiderman otherwise the wait might ruin the ride. (well actually i think that 7 minutes would be too long for spiderman, but i guess you should go see it 'cuz you might like it if you like that sort of thing)
fastpass doesn't exactly work for dudley for some reason, they file you in like halfway through the line, so even with a free pass, you still have a long wait.

for hulk, go in the single express lane, it's parallel to the fastpass lane, so after they collect the passes from the people in that lane, hop over to that side, and you'll not have to wait any and can ride with whomever you're with

popeye is liek any other ride of its kind, storm acceleration is a waste of time, jurrasic park is way too short and a little disappointing. but overall i just loved this park and it's 100% themed so its just a great place to be
IOA is open every day throughout the year. So if you can go on a weekday during the off-season (that is, avoid the summer and holiday periods), there will be no crowds at all. The same goes for the other central Florida parks. As for the number of days at IOA, I'd buy a two-day pass that covers both IOA and Universal Studios. Then you'll be able to go in and out of both parks on the two days. AAA has good deals on these tickets, and last year the price included two parking passes.
When I went in Jan, it was a walk on at every park besides Disney. I really wasn't impressed with their coasters too much. I thought they were tame. I liked the water rides better (popeye, dudley do right, jurassic park)

Nitro: The Most Explosive Coaster on the Planet explodes at Six Flags Great Adventure in 2001.
It's a very nice park! although I go to FL twice a year April & Nov I would tell ya go in the off season (anytime the kids are in school) and the wait is not long at all & give yourself one (1) day at each place IOA & Universal Studio - get a 2 day hopper from AAA and a must do is SPIDERMAN!
Nitro, the Incredible Hulk is not tame. When I went in June and there was not a single rider line and the lines were long.
there is definitely a single riders line for Hulk and i thought it was a pretty intense ride, especially the first time you ride it and you launch out of the tunnel
The lines have been pretty long the last two times I have gone there but I am not sure how it is this summer. Been there 4 times. Its a great park especially the coasters and water rides and spiderman. I thought dr dooms freefall was the worst of all the free falls I have been on. The theming was the only thing that was good on this ride. Just my opinion. Iam going back in Saptember.
Awesome park. I went all the way from Montreal and it was sooooo worth it.

1.HULK
2.Fire Drago
3.Ice Dragon
4.Spiderman
5.Dudley Doo Right's Ripsaw Falls
ALL THE OTHER RIDES ARE GREAT ALSO.

Dude our names are too alike.
I don't think there was that day because I asked and the person at the entrance said no, so there was not one at least that day Ditto.
IOA is well worth the trip as is the whole Disneys thing, if your in to that. Hulk is good and DD is awesome, espeacially in the front car. JP was a disappointment and Spider-man was killer the first couple time then got a little predictable. All in all though its the best park in Orlando. By the way I have video of Dr. Dooms Fear Fall on the ride....intense
