This is my first trip report and I anticipate it will be a long one.
Spent 7 days in orlando. stayed at a place called Westgate Vacation Villas, just south of Disney. Beautiful place, I recommend it to anyone.
Day One: Islands of Adventure
Perfect weather, very light crowds. As soon as you enter this perfect you know you are in no park like you have ever been before. The atmosphere they create on each of the islands is awesome. The use of themeing and music is second best to no one. Beautifully landscaped too. The port of entry is a great entry way to the entire park and I love the sign the says "Let Your Journey Begin"
We first went to Marvel Super Hero Islands and rode Hulk first. Great ride. I love the beginning even if you know what is going to happen it is still quite a surprise. four inversion before you know it. this coaster is really twisted around it self but I barely noticed it when I was riding. the vertical loops are huge. Rode again at end of day-much prefer an evening ride. rode Storm force Accelatron next. cool spinning ride. you control your cars rate of spinning. you can really get it going fast. Spiderman was next. Wow. enough can't be said about this ride. I had heard so many great things but was expecting a let down. I just couldn't imagine that they could pull it off seamlessly. well they did and then some. the second time we rode I ignored the ride itself and tried to figure how it works-couldn't find anything. loses a little on repeat rides but this is the future of theme park rides.

Alien Encounter wasn't as great as I expected. peter pan is one of the best kids rides-awesome scenery.
day three: MGM
had a lot of fun here. rode everything and saw almost every show. really enjoyed Tower of terror (five drops, 2 short, 2 medium, 1 long), rock and roller coaster was also very cool, good themeing, great launch, a little too short though with a few dead spots during the ride.
day four: EPCOT/Animal kingdom
I really enjoy EPCOT, it is alwaya very relaxing day. good food, great scenery. took part of the day to visit animal kingdom. this park is going to be very cool but is has a long way to go. the paths need to be widened to ease the crowds a little, way too much construction but I guess that is how they improve the park. Dinosaus was okay-too much of the ride was in complete darkness. disappointing after riding spiderman. the safari tour was great-they did a great job of recreating the african savana. it's tough to a bug was a lot of fun too. scared the heck out of a lot of little kids (those spiders from the ceiling) and the bugs under you butt was a great effect.
returned to EPCOT in the evening to watch the big parade (Tapestry of Nations) and the final show (Reflections of Earth) both were truly spectacular. disney sure knows how to be subtle (sarcasm)
Had a great trip. can't wait to go back so I can visit Universal Studios and BGT.
