Er, what Kyle? Have you ridden X? You are never inverted for #2, or #5 of your description. The other descriptions seem accurate.
However, there are some people I know who think you're upsidedown only twice...the first drop and the back flip. I say the two "half twists" you are inverted. Anyone agree or disagree?

"Escuse me, can you tell me where the heck the Mystery Lodge is"?
Maybe on rcdb they count the number of times the track flips and the number of times you actually go upside down. You actually go upside down twice, but don't forget the two raven turns (4 inversions) and the two "heartline" spins (6 inversions). Make sense now? I said "heartline" because there is no real heartline on a 4D.
Oh, that Badnitrus animation is a little funny. The flips in the front are a little too fast, especially down the drop and in the bunny hop. And has anyone noticed there's no Viper in it? Keith decided to leave Viper out of the picture for some reason. :)

I'm speaking in terms of track flipping. Technically, it's inverting. So, if the track goes from facing up to facing down, it's an inversion. It does that in both raven turns.
No, I haven't ridden the ride. I'm stuck here in Jersey, but those are what are counted as inversions on X.

Yeah, now Keith sucks cause he spent all that time and didn't get it 100% perfect. I downloaded it JUST to see Viper in the background.
I'm just thankful he does what he does. I'm not being a smartazz for any other reason than to let you know if you criticize, you should at least thank him for what he DOES put in there.

Rock on Homey G. ;)
First of all, I find it hilarious that an animation I made is being used to represent fact, as in how many times X actually inverts!! I'm very aware the seats rotate a little too fast at points, but I reserve my right to be lazy and not correct minor and retarded details for something I do completely in my spare time for fun :)!! Plus I am the biggest procrastinator ever and decided to just post the movie already before another few months rolled by.
Back to the topic, Legendary and I have argued this and I still stand by my opinion that X only truly inverts twice. But I haven't ridden it or even seen it running in person so my opinion means nothing.

Truer words have never been spoken. Ahem.
Coaster131, I see what you meant now. I thought the original poster wanted to know how many times your body actually inverted, to which I say four.

Haux, if you email him to thank him, that's one thing. But nobody knows that here. I have no personal beef with you, but your comment came off a little critical to me is all. Everyone says that the best steelie around is SFNE's S:ROS, but I never understood why until I saw Keith's representation of it in comparision to the other S:ROSs. You can almost feel the airtime just watching it! I force all my friends to watch his videos on my computer... even the ones who aren't coaster lovers. That's required viewing at my house.
Thanks again, Keith.
