Zero G Network had the pleasure of interviewing Brian Grooms, developer of Scream Machines. Also included are three of the game's newest screenshots, plus a screenshot that shows some of the great detail work that Brian and company have done so far in the game.

it looks nice, but i don't know if Scream Machines will ever beat No Limits
Like No limits, Scream machines will be yet another coaster sim which I can't buy as long as it's available for purchase only online.
screenshots are pretty impressive. id say this game could beat no limits. it seems like it will offer alot.

The top screen shot is very impressive of the break run... however, the final screen-shot posted looks no better than No Limits... if not, worse.

If the rest of the game's graphical presentation is as impressive as that first screen shot,
If the sound effects are more realistic than No Limits (and a complete overhaul from their original demos)
If the building engine is COMPLETELY different than their first two demos, and easy to use (similar to No Limits)

...then he might have a sale in me!

If it weren't for online distribution, a lot of titles like this would never see the light of day. Your problem is not a flaw of the product.

I'm happy to see that he's masked out the gray windows and implimented transparent menus. Much cleaner look.

im still with nolimits....
Not working for me. Oh well.

does anybody know the name of that other coaster sim in the works? anyways, this game looks good, but it is noway near as good as No Limits looks.

I'm hoping all of you nay-sayers will be eating your words once this comes out.

Again, since the demos came out over a year ago, there has been a major overhaul from the ground out, so you can't really judge Scream Machines anymore from those demos.

Also... with all the bugs of the most recent "No Limits" Beta2 patch, I'm getting a little frustrated with the game!

Besides... isn't an option for automatic support placement one of the best options you could ask for?!? It sometimes takes weeks to lay out supports for a No Limits coaster... with the touch of a button, it's done on Scream Machines... plus if you want to customize it more... then just add more supports, so it takes a lot of the work out of No Limits that's tedious & no fun.

....Summer is only a short 91 days long. How much of that time are you going to use at the amusement parks??

For the people who dont know. Those are old screenshots except the top one. The Track, and Sky textures have been updated so much since the time they where made. all i have to say is that this game rocks now, with the nw screens.!!!

I think that Scream Machines has beat No Limits because it is easier and just more fun! I have Scream Machines and I love it!
