Uh...okay. While I feel people are entitled to their opinions, I have a really hard time believing Timbers was really that bad. Especially given your ranking of "999", it seems to be ranked so low out of principle, not because you really feel the ride is that bad. And as I said earlier, it's frustrating when people throw the poll off by "making a statement" that nobody really cares about.

I kinda question weather you even rode timbers myself but I could be wrong. Any wooden coaster on any given day can produce a bad ride.
Wolverine Wildcat though however did have potholes in the bottom of the drops and gave spinals. On both my visits to MIA Timbers only pain was caused by the turn around latteral slam, Which BTW, Me and my brother loved. Kinda Legend like :)
Timbers can produce less than stellar rides but when it's on and even when it's off, It isn't even close to bottom of the barrel coasters.
To each their own. and if it was indeed Timbers that did that too you. I apologize.

Wolverine Wildcat that day was running pretty good, as were the other two coasters there...
ST was exceedingly rough and jerky even in the straightaways of which (as you noted) is 95% of the ride (the only areas that aren't straight are the turnaround and the "trick track".) It was so rough, that after our inital ride on it, my wife was so sore that she didn't go on another coaster all day.
There is rough and then there is rough that causes lasting physical pain. ST fell in the last category for usand as such it rates the same rating as SoB... 999 (ask "Team We're not Wet Yet" from the original CBCon for my experience with SoB.)

ST does seem to have bearing problems from time to time. Im wondering if you caught it on one of those days
On both my visits I noticed hardly any roughness on the coaster. The trick track tends to get a little brutal when the coaster is running it's fastest but other than that, Thats my experience with it.
Hope you try it again sometime, I know a coaster that isn't very big and is very fun became unridable last year. At least IMHO (Big Dipper SFWOA)
Chuck, who says yes, His stellar #1 ranking rides did come at Timbersfest and only durring dark and raining rides. That coaster is just amazing. I remember Camielle Jourdan soliciting #1 votes at Lunch and I wasn't ready to agree with her and gave her the my favorite woodie is the one Im riding answer. By 10:30pm the coaster proved totally worthy. I infact think they undergrease this coaster on purpose to keep it from running that insane normally.
Needless to say, I have "the one true ballot"...:)
