Interesting Park Announcements

I was waiting in line at PKI last Wednesday when I heard the following annoucement. Thought it was funny.

"Here at Kings Island, we consider the railings our friends. And, since you don't sit on your friends, please don't sit on ours..."

How about you? Hear any other funny park announcements?

I want a season pass to "Garfield's Adventure"
LOL, that's hilarious. Sounds like something they'd put in a kindergarten playground...
That's really not funny.

I find it to be funny. It's a heck of a lot better than "Please do not sit on the hand railings."

Welcome to Six Flags Great America, home of the fastlane and delay-ja vu! We have now officially been deemed the world-wide wait!
This one isn't funny but ANNOYING! "Moving conveyor belt please watch your step" on Ultra Twister @ SFAW. If you stand in line for an hour for that ride it will drive you insane!!!!!
Well, at SFA on Two Face the ride op said " It is now 3:15 (example) and our no screaming policy is now in effect. If you are cought screaming you will be ejected from the park"

o please dont get me started on annoying announcements. for 30 minutes while waiting in line for that really big raft family ride at Waterworks at PKI. the recording over the intercom kept saying "Caution the splash pool is only 18 inches deep, please wait for the attendant to bring your raft to a full and complete stop. Thank You." Imagine hearing the word CAUTION for every 30 seconds for 30 minutes. now when i sit on the rails my dad drives me nuts by starting to say "CAUTION". o god that word. i never wanna hear it again.

Nothing can be worse than seeing OL:FOF's queue video the fifteen times it will repeat while you are standing in line. Oh no! The aliens! AHHHHHH! Come on....

We are the ones who wait in line for hours for a 45-second thrill, and consider it time well spent.
I just think it is funny how fast the ride ops talk. You can't understand anything they say!

I thought after the Matterhorn when you stop and wait before entering the station when they say..."Remain seated plese. Dermine seis sentados por favor..." is rather annoying..
Also speaking of movies...the old movie that was shown before DinoSphere at Marine World played over and over again and it was REALLY annoying!
At worlds of fun they have a very annoying recording that plays in a loop every 2 minutes or so while your waiting in line for Mamba, "At 200 ft tall and with speeds of over 70 miles per hour, Mamba is one of the largest rollercoasters in the world. Sit back, hold on tight, because Mamba is about to strike"
I agree with Package2001, they need to make the FOF movie longer, it is so annoying!!! I saw it 10 times! Drove me nuts!!

PKI Trip - July 7-9, 2001
I actually found it humorous the last time I was at PKI (back in 2000), and FoF's video shower an empty queue row and a voice said something like "Get those civilians out of there"

When I was a kid, the Disneyworld monorail was still voiced-over by the engineer. We once had one who started a catch phrase in our family that we've used for years:

"While exiting the monorail, please watch your step and take all small children by the hair."
