Interesting Knoebels documentary.

You can cut right to the coaster and FT related portion around 33:20 if you are so inclined.

Thanks. I want to watch this soon.

I was very impressed with this. It really does tell the history of both the park and the family that started it all.

It was presented from a fan's point of view...which is fine with me.

Well done!

I bookmarked this to watch later. It looks very interesting.

I finally got around to watching this today... and wow! What an amazing documentary. I'm not sure how I missed this on TV, but I'll surely be buying the DVD. The part about overcoming the flood of 2011 hit my emotions hard. I grew up in the town of Bloomsburg, PA about 10 miles north of Knoebels and my entire town was destroyed by the same flood. Hearing the family's expressions of sincere thanks on how the entire staff came together to rebuild is amazing. My grandfather was a carpenter for Knoebels, and to know that two of his structures are still standing thanks to those who rose up to preserve them after the floods warms my heart.

Not as much time spent on talking about building Twister than I would have liked! They missed out on explaining using the "golden bolt" from the original Mr Twister. But still a great documentary. If you haven't taken the hour to watch this... do it

And almost 7 years later, I did!

Through a little clicking brought about by the meme thread, I found this, which I had totally forgotten about. Good doc, great history, and I learned a lot. Only complaint, the narrator was a pretty grating in her delivery. But if you slept on this like I did, or never knew, give it a watch.
