Maybe threadjacking turned into postjacking.

They *were* there...

Janfredrick- Do you live in MD?

I'm 6'1" and 245 myself. I've never had a problem getting on a coaster. Admittedly the xCelerater is a bit tight, but still no problems. I was able to ride MF 3 years back, but I have no idea what the restrictions are now. But yah, I'd like to get under 220. It's just difficult when my other hobby is cooking. Good thing I have a dog to walk twice a day!

Nope, the closest I was ever to MD was on a trip to DC when I was a kid.

I reside in wonderful sunny Saaaaan Dieeeeggggoooo! Home of the all new Journey to Atlantis! (first coaster down here in quite a while!)

Anyway, as far as spelling goes, your positive attitude goes a long way. But I think if you switch to text mode, you can use the automatic spell checker. Also, if you ever want to improve your language skills, check out a short book called "Woe is I" by Patricia T. O' Conner. This is coming from a guy who failed English twice (not that anyone around here hasn't figured that out yet).

I think that Fantasia being a strong willed, talented, different, single mother is an American Idol.

Just what every little girl aspires to be...a single mother.

(who will be going out on tour and making hundreds of appearances...poor child)

No further explanation needed. I'm hopelessly lost.
Amen. I hate to stay off topic, but that's somethign I feel very strongly about. Call me traditional, but when you bring a life into the world, you have responsibilities, and having a 24 hr. a day job being a superstar and having someone else raise your child (since there's no dad I bet her best hope is the grandmother) isn't one of them! *** Edited 5/28/2004 5:45:03 PM UTC by Peabody***

She could always send her kid to Pleasure Island. They could always use another donkey. ;)

Sorry, not very PC, but I couldn't resist.

Heh heh...well, don't know how my wife would feel about guests in our teeny tiny apartment, but if you're out here, let me know. And to tell you the truth, although you should probably check out the Mountain if you've never been there, you should make Knott's a priority. Ghostrider at night? Fuhgeddaboudit. And I have a feeling that Silver Bullet will be fun fun fun!

sup clint? remember me? John? the one who waited 13 and a half hours for TopThrill Dragster with you. lol Fun times. I havent heard from ya lately
freakylick and Peabody: What the heck? Neither of you(nor I) know the circumstances of why she is a single mother, and freaky, I never insinuated that 'every girl' wants to be one. But come down to reality. American Idol is chosen by American people(duh), and like it or not, there are alot of single mothers out there. Didn't know this was 'Lets judge other people' hour at the buzz.

I don't think anybody can speak for anyone and say that she won't be a good mother. Do you guys know something about her that I don't? That was one of the most prejudicial things I've read on this website.

Geez...don't take it so personally. I know way too many professional musicians (being one) and I know what kind of life she has in store for herself. It's not good for parenting. That's a fact!

But a fact coming from your personal exp., and not hers. I realize what you are saying(and I agree with ywhat you said, don't get me wrong, I hate it when parents edit: dont step up to the plate), but she hasn't even been in this position for a week and people bash her because she has a kid? Thats just wrong.

I was more ticked because of the way freakylick said it, not you, but still. *** Edited 5/28/2004 9:01:08 PM UTC by TeknoScorpion***

Yeah, I'm just posting so I can get in here before it's closed.

I say not "New Clint" but call him "Clint II"

Tommy P.

Hey, I like that:). Or, if you want to sound all classy, 'Clint Due'"
Topthrill13- Sup man ha ha.. Long time no chat. You need to hit me up with an email next time you come down to PKD and i will meet you out there... How is trever doing?

Last year me and like 50 other people were in line for TTD for one hole day and then 3 hours the next day... so about 13 hours in line. http://www.rollercoasterclint.com/CrewTTDmar.html

Why is every one taking about the forum being locked? why would they lock it?

I'm new to here too, Clint. Apparantley this guy Jeff, who I think is the webmaster or owner of the website, has tendency to "lock" threads that get off topic, have been answered many times before, or are simply useless. I guess its a pretty good thing to do, unlike RRC where it seems like 70% of the posts are about gay marriage and Intamin bashing.

Well i agree and disagree with that... i mean i beleave people show speek there piece.. but i guess i understand if a forum is all about TV then it guess it should not run.. but i guess this is not my message board.....

and on that note thanks Jeff "god of message board" for not locking the topic

Sorry to resort to old habits here, but...

Clint, do you remember me? October 19, 2003. We were waiting outside the queue for Dragster talking, and then later in the day we met up again in line for TTD, and you gave me the works on how your club works...

Remember?
