Intelligent newbies! Is the World coming to an end?

I'm not going to name any names, but there's been like a half-dozen or so new people posting in the past couple of weeks, and they're, like, well-spoken and all.

Just thought I'd mention how nice it is to read complete sentences with good grammar and punctuation. Easy to read and comprehend, etc. I don't even look at profiles, so I don't know how old you are or where you're from (yet! LOL...), but it's nice to have these new people.

FoF, I wondered if September ended when AOL dropped USENET support. Unfortunately, I don't have access to an "endless September" server so I don't know what the (un)official word is on that...

Well I guess I would be one of the new posters :)
Even though I have been a member here I have not really posted before this week.

But I am a semi-active poster over on PointBuzz so I have a decent idea of what the rules are, and I know how to behave on a forum like this :)

I accept that compliment! :-) Thanks! I actually signed up last month, but just started posting yesterday. We are slow at work and what better way to pass the time. ;-)

I HATE what I like to call internet writing. Drives me batty. It's funny to read every once in a while, but not all the time.

That's what I do... when my post frequency increases, it usually means I'm having a slow day at the office. It's a good way to pass the time, especially when the conversation is level-headed and intelligent. In other words, just as gator was saying.

This Intelligent Newbie situation won't last! Now everyone keep your heads until this I-N craze blows over!
