Intamins next big thing

I know with the whole B&M floorless patent that this idea wouldnt really be possible for a while, but I still think it would be pretty cool. The idea is an impulse coaster thats not inverted, instead you are above the track and the train is floorless. It may not be as much of a thrill but I would think some parks would buy one. Or how about if the cars wern't floorless and instead they were there hyper coaster cars with NO over the shoulder restraints. The floorless impulse cant happen because of the patent but i think the non inverted impulse with mega coaster cars sure would be awesome

What "revolutionary" rides are those? I'll give you the rocket coaster, but that's about it. Most everything else they've done was done first by someone else.

Intamin rides are clever and revolutionary. Sure, several people built hyper coasters before Intamin, but Intamin introduced their magnetic braking system, cable lift hill, and extreme airtime to the boring "200 foot mine train" rides that were being produced by other less-ambitious manufacturers.

what about that half-pipe thing
Uh Setpoint already has its own floorless design that they are marketing.

I don't see them infringing on any patents.

Gas engines and their components are patented, yet they are all basically the same.

And after Dragster was fixed the way Intamin wanted to do things in the forst place, it's uptime and capacity have been nothign short of spectacular.
