Intamin vs. Intamin AG

I've seen rides credited to Intamin and to Intamin AG.
Is there a difference, or is one just short for the other?

I don't know the translation, but I suspect it's like using Inc., LP, LLC, etc. in English. Any multi-lingual folk want to confirm that?

I believe the AG means "Aktiengesellschaft", which is German for company or corporation.
