intamin impulse

hey, i was wondering...how much dough does an intamin impulse cost? I would think it would be cheap, but I'm not sure. I think that every park should have one. they are small, and supposedly affordable.
-----------------
Yes, but they are expensive to run with all the electricity required for the LIM's.

who thinks that SFA should get one? I mean, they despretaly need another non- DC comics coaster, and they could put it on the hill where Python used to be (between S:ROS and batwing)

Dude every park should have one, they are beyond awesome, and I thought of an awesome name for one!  Twist of Fate!
Twist of Fate! I love it! Excuse me, I need to go write a letter to SFA...

PKDStar01-

SFWoA has an intamin impulse. Its name is SUPERMAN-Ultimate Escape. That's what they'll name it if they put one in SFA. Another friggin Superman:Something.

Arent there any other DC comic characters other than BATMAN & SUPERMAN (foes included)?

Two-Face has been used.  Riddler has been used.  Joker has been used.  Poison Ivy has been used.  Mr. Freeze has been used.  Why, the list goes on and on and on...

Anyways, Impulses are excellent.  They are probably pretty cheap to construct, but you must take into consideration how much electricity this thing sucks out!  Let me put it into perspective:

Chiller at SFGAdv cannot launch both sides at once because if they did, the entire park would black-out!

PKD has a separate power line feeding directly into FOF and Volcano.

Is that enough?  We're talking HIGH energy bills here!

If you see me running, try and keep up!

ya and v2 has several launches in one ride
Ya never know LoadedG, SFA could name another coaster after Superman. Look @ SFGADV, Batman & Robin, and Batman The Ride. Funny thing is, if they do do that, it would be the same thing @ SFA as SFGADV. One Batman sit down, one batman inverted. Except switch the Batman name with Superman ;)

That's what i meant by "foes included". All those you list are foes of Batman or Superman. I mean what about other DC HEROES or their foes?  Where's Aquaman:the Escape? Or Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet Ride? A ride like the B&R:Chiller could've been Green Hornet & Kato (green and black of course). What REALLY BOTHERS me is the insistent use of the same charater to name totally different rides. I remember when Batman meant Batman the Ride and SUPERMAN was Superman:the Escape. Now I dont even know what coaster I MYSELF am talking about. Who's ridden that Superman ride???????

An IMpulse coaster would make a nice addition to a lot of parks.  Structurally, they are simple and since they have a small footprint, they can fit practically anywhere.  The only problem I can see is that they may be expensive to operate.
I'm really hoping that SFKK gets one of these babies next season.  As short of land as they are it would almost be a sure bet for them.

God please let SFKK get something in 2002. ANYTHING!!
or if SFA gets one they could just call it V2 or Twisted Impulse. You know how Six Flags loves to name different coasters the same thing :)

The Flash should be the next comic hero with a coaster. And, wow, what a name for an Impulse, or wait Impulse is the name of a comic hero too.

Spiderman?

My Top 5:

Spiderman?

Spiderman is Marvel, thats why it is in Marvel Superhero island.

Six Flags probably doesn't own Aquaman or Wonder Woman, because it seems if they only use names that were in Warner Bros. movies, Six Flags original owners.
