But wait, before you ban me again, Jeff, could you tell me why I was banned from my original name, CedarPointNut? Was it because you thought I was stalking you (cuz honestly, I wasn't)? What is it that really bothers you (besides changing names a lot)?

I still have 50 minutes before The Simpsons is on. By the way Peabody, I didn't doubt for a second that you wouldn't figure it out under this name. I thought this one would be gone as fast as Inedible Hilk. I don't know what's taking Jeff so long, lol.
PS...please realize I *am* trying to help you....but I *am* quickly getting the feeling that you are drowning, and the only thing I have to throw you is an anchor.....

Edit: Then again according to the t.o.s. this whole thread is a waste of space and is very unproductive.

Because you're a stalker and annoy the piss out of everyone. You never have a point. Run along now...

Colonel, what he's been doing is defined as noise....sure, I probably post more *worthless crap* than your average poster...OTOH, I try to never attack anyone and I think considering the number of times I've been named as some sort of *Peacekeeper* that there must be something to that....as always, YMMV....
And gator define being productive. This post doesn't hold contempt so don't go looking for a fight.
"Looking for a fight"....really, you DEFINITELY got me all wrong guy....entirely. I am a pacifist, and I'll punch anyone who says different....;). No seriously, I intend no ill will toward anyone and apologize sincerely if I've hurt anyone's feelings. I guess when I'm SO sarcastic SO much of the time, I get to suffer by not having anyone take me seriously when I try for that.....them's the breaks (brakes?...LOL...other thread....and 'Playa says HE'S easily distracted...must not be reading my posts).
If you've been reading for a long time or a short time, you'll see that I really try to *steer* the new posters that come in and make a bunch of noise toward a way of getting along here (or on net forums in general, I do frequent other sites whom I won't mention). Why not mention them? Well, glad you asked. Because it's sort of disrespectful to come here and SHOUT about other forums when Jeff (and staff) have worked VERY hard to make this SUCH a great site....and it IS!
"Productive"...I'll bite. To me it means adding to the thread, *contributing* if you will, in a way that furthers the discussion of the topic at hand. Sometimes, as conversation goes, topics get sidetracked.....it really is rarely intentional, but that's the way conversation goes. I ask about S:RoS, someone says they liked Wild One, perhaps asks a question about the coaster's history. Someone else pops and and answers with the history of Giant Coaster and asks if anyone remembers the park it came from in New England......it's kinda funny when you think about it. But in the course of conversation someone mentions that they liked Typhoon Seacoaster raft ride at SFA and wants to know who designed it. Well, in amongst all the discussion a friend of mine might say something that reminds me of a trip where I met them in person and we might have shared some fun at a park. Shouldn't I be permitted to mention it to them when I see them post on a thread where that trip was brought up? See, it's gets into a lot of gray area.....a lot.
If Jeff told us to stop, we would certainly honor his wishes. He's the webmaster, and HE decides. But really, I do what I do because it's fun for me, and I enjoy it. I've met some great people here, and was lucky enough to meet a BUNCH of them at CBCon last year. A lot of them I was forunate enough to meet during that SRM weeklong coaster extravaganza which also included CM and SRM. Am I lucky? Darn right! But knowing some of these people, and worse yet, that they actually like me ANYWAY, means that I'm gonna try like heck to bring a smile to their faces when I can....
I'm sorry that EVERYONE can't be *in on* ALL the inside jokes, but if that were the case we'd all have to live together every day for the rest of our lives....and I don't think ANY of us really wants that either. MOST "inside jokes" will be explained with a cheerful smile to someone who asks....especially if they're nice about asking. So in conclusion for this *chapter*, a pleasant approach to someone you've never met, and a respect for others, will go a long way. I don't agree with the lambasting that often occurs, but if someone new comes in and says "you all hate me" with their FIRST post, I think it's safe to assume that THAT isn't headed anywhere good. Frankly, THAT to me is *idle noise*, whereas a little witty banter now and again can lighten a stressful day at work better than two martinis at lunch...

And in conclusion.....THAT is a darn fine sig ya got there....keep up the good work!
Sorry I took so long, but considering where we've been lately, I thought it was needed. I hope this clarified MY position, I certainly can't speak for anyone else....well, except for this ventriloquist's dummy that's sitting on my lap...;)
edit: just trying to fix the post...'Moosh, would you hurry up with that e-mail already...:)
