Intamin Ball Coaster

That photo is of the prototype. Its small and only runs one car. Trust me, when a park buys this concept it won't be that exact ride...well, unless its Six Flags ;)
Just curious... do prototypes like that count towards an individual's track record? ;)

Last night I was dreaming somebody gave me this coaster (the small prototype) as a birthday gift and I was trying to set it up in the back yard - however, the longer I worked on it the more small parts seemed to show up that needed to be worked into the structure - so that I kept on taking things apart and putting them together again - there was also some difficulty because the coaster could be put together in a variety of different ways, and I was not sure which one to try first.

I never actually got to ride it - , I'm not sure if I even finished construction (and it was yellow, not red).

:)

what does this dream mean?

^^^ Scary thought! I was wondering if the prototype counts as a credit as well. :) Gotta love us credit whores!

And ^^ yeah, this ride would be 100x better than the Frequent Faller that Hershey was going to build.

This ride is 100x better than a coaster that was never built and you never rode? How can this be?

There was nothing wrong with the frequent faller, especially some of the other, larger versions Interactive Rides has shown. Some of those drops were huge, and I'd imagine they would create the same sensation as a Giant Drop.

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

^^Its an opinion. I didn't think the frequent faller looked very appealing at all. The definition of a ride built upon a gimmick, and not a very interesting one at that.

I just don't really have a lot of confidence in a company whose previous largest ride was a sky skater. But when Intamin rolls out a new prototype, its usually going to be interesting.

Obviously, I haven't been on either, but the Ball Coaster (while still a gimmick), seems like it just has a lot more going for it.

Lets hope that this will be the something Big in 2006 at Hershey since Turbulence. I still would like to see a FF.

Maybe Interactive and Hershey will settle their differences and build it in 2005?

Or perhaps Hershey will go with the Ball Coaster?

I wouldn't mind either of those creations at Hershey.

Although, from what I hear, the skyscraper land at Dorney is still vacant... ;)
