Since I'm on the other side of the Atlantic, could anyone update me on the status of the 1st generation Intamin freefalls at CP, SFGtAd and SFMM (and anyhere else for that matter)? Are they dismantled, SBNO and/or are any still operating?
Similarly, does anyone know anything about what happened to Drop of Doom after it was removed from Edmonton Mall around 2002/03?
Thanks in advance.

Cedar Point's Demon Drop is still standing and operating, though it is for sale. Probably has just a few seasons left, is my guess.
Six Flags Great Adventure's Stuntfall (I believe that's what it was called, never been to the park before, however) is gone, removed this past offseason. I believe just used as complete scrap metal.

SFOG's was dismantled this past off season. Too bad...I had just gotten to the point where I really liked it. They really don't need to remove anymore flats at this already flat deficient park.
I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!

They are awsome except for the part before you drop where it drops about and inch and you feel it, but the drop is greatest on them.

The drop is awesome, but the part where it knocks you on your back before the end is still one of the most insane feelings ever! :)
And don't forget those eerie snap, crackle, and pop noises RIGHT before it drops. ;)
