Inspiration for TTD

Does anyone remember in the summer of 01 there was talk of CP's higher ups visiting a Disney park and being "very" inpressed with The Rocking Rollercoaster. Wish I could find the forum in which it was discussed.

To tell you the truth, the most inspiration I see with Dragster is the Top Fuel Eliminators at SFKK. Complete with control tower and bleachers. The similarities are extremely striking.

It's a pay per ride attraction like ripcord.

They have V-8 powered Drag cars that race along like slot cars. Very cool.

I do not have any pics though, sorry. I am sure someone does.

Rock'n'Rollercoaster. I doubt that this was it since they have been working on this for a long time.
