I believe she also claimed she was 263 ft. high when she was at the top of lift which isn't exactly what she meant, I don't think. But whateva.
You've been around here long enough to know I'm a sarcastic prick on this board, come on ...

They showed the reporter riding and she said it opens on Saturday. Doesn't anyone fact check this stuff?
It does open on Saturday.
Media day is today, passholder previews are tommorow, and the ride opens to the public on Saturday.
What a toolbox.
Oh, kRaXLeRidAh, did Reuben say if it was the best ride ever?
13 Boomerang, 9 SLC, and 8 B-TR clones
When we did the Batwing media preview, every member of the press got a press kit. I would assume that kit included all the facts of the ride so they get it right. All the producer (or the reporter) of the segment for Tatsu would've had to do was actually read their press kit to establish that it's the world's tallest "flying" coaster. Obviously, the very short segment showed the reproter riding a flying coaster, but they kept teasing it as the world's tallest, fastest (?) coaster without showing it.
When my sister told me that Inside Edition was featuring the world's tallest coaster, I'm thinking "Is there something I missed this year?":)

The only reason I find stuff like that troubling is it makes me wonder what else the folks are getting wrong on TV.
Pretty much everything.
You don't read Fark much, do you :)
Or watch The Daily Show, or anything else that makes fun of how broken the news media is...
I am off to search for that original thread. SO I can laugh at it again.
(also to remember why I never renewed my ACE membership)
Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.
