Major-crapola as I have plans for my June coaster trip to swing thru Wichita so I can support the park and ride its under-rated wooden gem. I hope everything can be resolved in a timely fashion...not only because of my desire to return to the park but because I hate to see it close for good.
Kiddieland in Melrose Park Ill closes. Joyland in Wichita KS future is uncertain. Knoebels buys both the Little Dipper (Kiddieland) and Roller Coaster (Joyland), relocates them near the Phoenix, and changes the name of the park to "Schmeck Land".

I then wake up and then discover it was only a dream...

^but a good dream none the less. :)
Anybody know what the buildings in question are or are used for? Wasn't there a plan spelling out exactly what the developers planned to do? Didn't the owners make the developers aware of what could and couldn't be done inside the park?
