Info on SFNE's new coaster

Purple spine, yellow track, with black supports... I guess it'll prob be a Batman themed coaster.
DOH! I was hoping for a gay Superman (well, if it's purple...)

One speed Doesn't Fit All!
Why would they make another superman-themed coaster if they already have one?
-----------------
I have a photographic memory... I just forgot to put film in.
Here is a link to a picture of the track. It's purple with blue rails. The guy that took this has a neighboor who drives the delivery truck for B&M out of Cinncinatti. The driver also stated that he was going to make a delivery to a park near Atlanta and one near Montreal. Looks like SFoG will have the first US installment of a B&M flyer!

i think he was joking...do you really think they'd make a gay superman themed coaster??
-----------------
"who needs drugs when you have coasters...they're like a natural high"
According to the plans will the coaster have a straight or curved drop?
It appears to be a curved drop from the plans. Also like spincycle said, It does appear there will be a Zero G roll... The two pieces of track on site are 2 lift sections, they're huge... So, the colors are going to be Purple, Blue And Black... There is no yellow in site... Makes me wonder if its even going to be Batman themed, as yellow has been used in all the recent batman rides I believe... And I believe that the black is just for the station, I think that all the major supports are purple. So what could a Blue And Purple coaster be besides batman? Any Ideas? -Chris
According to the recent Theme Park New England update, the coast will have a zero-g roll.  tpne.8m.com/sfne2002/october20
-----------------
If it has a Zero G Roll then I will believe its a floorless but until I hear it from the park I think stand up. If you go to www.coaster-network.com/bm/bm it says it will have 4 inversions and a Zero G Roll isn't one but they could be wrong. Its also rumored that SFA stand up that got dumped last year was going to SFNE.
I swear I saw yellow somewhere.
Medusafan: as much as I'd like to see another stand-up, there comes a time when you have to admit that it isn't going to be a stand-up.

1. Jeff said it will be a floorless

2. it was said that blueprints show a curve to the staight line meaning a zero-g roll.

3. SF is really into the whole floorless thing right now.

now where is your proof that its a stand-up?  from a rumors site?  it may be a nice thought to have a stand-up, but SFNE is getting a floorless.  let it go.

The http://rollercoaster.sites.cc/ doesn't work for me. :(

I admit that SF has been into floorless in the past couple years but no offense to Jeff but just because he says its going to be doesn't mean it will and the person who pointed out the Zero G Roll even said they could have been mistaken.
Medusa, If you don't believe that there will me a zero g roll, go to SFNE and look at the plans. They're o a cpnstuction trailer near Island Kingdom right on the wall. The lights are always on the trailer to show off the plans... Theres evern a set of stairs to help you see the plans! It's really obvious that its a zero g roll right before the interlocking corkscrews. Oh and to those people who insist its a B&M invert, take a look at the two pieces of track on site, they're normal B&M lift pieces, not inverted, or launched style... So I can dispell your beliefs. What I can not prove is the Train type, 100 % I have heard floorless everywhere, but like anyone I could be wrong. -Chris
There will be a Zero-G Roll!  Here's your proof:

Bigger is not always better. SFNE 2002

Couldn't it be a spinoff of Kumba? Er'body screaming floorless like the one 3 hours away doesn't exist!!
it could be a sit-down, but the chances of that are slim.  first off, there are only five in the world and only three in the US, none of which are located at a SF park.  secondly, SF seems to like the floorless model and will probably give one to each of the major parks just like they did with inverteds and B:TR.  in short, it could be either a sit-down or a floorless model and considering that we're talking about SF here, its more likely that it will be a floorless.

Why can't I be a Stand-Up with a zero g roll? I think that would cool.

I wish we had more coasters in Europe!!!!
