Info on Revenge of the Mummy?

Screamscape announced that it has been made official by both USF and USH. While it discusses the ride it self, like themeing and lim propulsion, it doesn't mention ride stats like manufacturer, length, or inversions and such. Anyone know more. I looked around some internet sites but didnt find much of what I am looking for.

All who think Mean Streak needs a match taken to it say I.

That helps a little, but still no word on inversions and length. It sounds like a Spiderman on steroids type ride. Im confused though. It says forward and backward. With lim propulsion, first thing I thought was shuttle ala Mr. Freeze or the Chiller, but that cant be the case. Can it? It would kill capacity and take your thru scenes your already experienced backwards. Guess that rules that out. I am surprised by the development time of 10 years and even more surprised by a ride time of 5 minutes.

After thinking about it, here is my take. Start out going thru ancient ruins and things go down the crapper. Fire, mummies and other nasties attack. Next is the launch in which you escape everything thru a twisted course of roller coaster track. I guess I am thinking a extremely elaborated FOF, only longer and differently themed of course. What are everyone elses thoughts?

Do we even know whether or not it has inversions? I'm surprised by the forward and backward launches though; I wonder how they're going to pull that off. I'm also interested in the train style, with only 1 car and stadium seating.

Backhand 452....Premier has forward and reverse launch coasters operating now....just two different sets of LIMs (or at least on Chiller and Speed:TR).

bill, USF/IoA passholder, praying for an invite to media day....;)

That's true, but if it's a full-circuit track (which I assume is true since it sorta can't go backwards through the same scenes) how would they use the backwards launches?

It says that the vehicles will move backward and forward. It never mentions launching them backwards, or for that matter forward. I am sure that is what it is implying, but we really dont know yet. Its kinda like the coaster at DAK. I still have no idea what it will do. Competition in Orlando is brutal. No one reveals anything really.
