Info from the inside on SFA's rumored coaster!

I am a sophomore down here at Elon University in NC. I am from Maryland, and majority of the Elon population is from Md as well. SFA by the way is my home park! Anyway, I am a Student Mentor this year for incoming freshmen. I just found out last night, that one of my mentee's had a managers position at SFA this summer.

SoI obviously jumped on this opportunity to ask some questions. She told me that the reason SFA didn't get a new coaster last year was because they were in debt! (i don't know how) That is also why there were so many SFA commercials out this summer. However, she said that there will in fact be a new coaster next season, and it will be themed around Poison Ivy! The ride will be located behind Batwing, and she said that it willl me a major coaster, and will be very compact. (does this mean maybe an impulse!)

Thats all the information that I could get from her, but I believe it for the most part because I have already heard rumors about a coaster themed around Poison Ivy, and because I trust my mentee's! But as said many times before, they employee's don't always know everything, so keep your fingers crosses, all u SFA fans out there, that this bit of information is completely true!

I knew I was right in the fact that SFA would be seeing a new coaster in 2003I had heard several rumors about a new ride coming from several sources both online and in the park.

The most convincing source of info came from the lead op on Mind eraser who indeed mentioned the possible theme for the coaster,that and recent sightings of a flatbed truck entering the main lot a few days ago make it look more & more likely that a new coaster is coming soon,let's hope it's a B&M floorless of course I'll take an impulse as well.
