Inexpensive HalloWeekends tickets (CP)

Since Halloweekends are a little cheaper than the regular season tickets, I was wondering what my best option would be to find a discount, so this is a three-part question...

a: Are there any discount offers avaiable for CP, and what are they, and where would I get them.

2: A co-worker of mine is willing to sell me 2 tickets at $25 each, but, these are from earlier this season, so, would I still be able to use them during this special event?

c: Does buying a 2002 season pass now allow me to get the rest of THIS season for free?

a.  I know AAA sells discounted tickets, but they may not be any cheaper than HalloWeekends.

c.  Unfortunately, no.  If you buy a 2002 pass, what you get is a voucher for next year, that you need to process at a later date.  CP's passes work in reverse, actually -- if I were to go to Knott's in January with my 2001 pass it'd still be good, because Cedar Point's 2002 season wouldn't have started yet.

I'm not sure, but I would think you would be able to use the tickets your co-worker has unless it is stipulated somewhere on the ticket (wouldn't hurt to call and ask).

If you don't want to take the chance, I have $7 coupons from the Getaway Guide and would be happy to mail them to you.  Email me if you are interested.

Christ how do you kids do it

They are only 22 bucks at AAA..

Dayuum, Your HOT!
Fridays they are only $24, and Saturdays and Sundays, they are $34.

Mayday - Memorial Day Weekend - Nonpoint, Nickelback, Oleander, Staind
Ozzfest - June 8 - Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

That brings up a great question.  I purchased two ride and ride again tickets when I went in June, (one for me and one for my girlfriend) We only went to CP one day and still have the "ride again" part of the tickets.  Does anyone know if they're still good?  I'd really like to get an answer here before making a toll call to Sandusky so any help is greatly appreciated.  :)

God please let SFKK get something in 2002. ANYTHING!!
I don't see why not...I used tickets I got way back in August. If they are for the 2001 season, then they would most likely be redeemable.

Mr. peck - when are you heading to CP?  If it's this Friday I could certainly help you out.  Lemme know.

Well, SPEWEY, it looks like this Sunday or the following. I try to stay away from the Point on Saturdays and I work on Fridays. But thanks anyway.

I think what I am going to do here is try to get two tickets cheap for my woman and I and also get a $79 season pass for 02.

TOP's has a coupon for 6 or 7 bucks off tickets!
also, for those that are heading south to Kings Island they have a buy (1) get (1) free coupon that you can get from Taco Bell's there in the area their's (1) down the road from KI next to McD's I think that's kings island mill road and also at exit #19

ALL CLEAR

Hey kids, thanks a lot! I wound up buying 2 tickets from my co-worker for $45. Sure, a buck more than AAA, but she needed to get rid of them.

And the tickets clearly read That they were good for the 2001 season only.

Thanks again.
