Indoor water park and hotel approved for Fox Lake, IL

The hotel will be a 4 story building with 94 rooms and a 25,000 square foot waterpark. It will be built along the shores of Pistakee Lake (part of the famous "Chain O' Lakes") along Highway 12 in Illinois.

Finally, this thing gets approved. I am happy for Fox Lake because they could use the tax revenue that will generate from this.
Lake County all of a sudden has become the place to install waterparks.
I too am happy that this is coming to Fox Lake, especially since I live there! It is so surprising that this town does not have any major hotels. It is in prime position to really capitalize on tourist who already come here for boating and other outdoor water activities. I am actually hoping this is just the beginning of things to come. The town is also in the perfect stopping grounds for someone heading up Highway 12 for a weekend in Wisconsin Dells. I am really surprised it took this long to get approved. To me it really is a no-brainer.
