Indianapolis Theme Park

We Badly need a good theme park in Central Indiana. The closest is Indiana Beach in Monticello and Holiday World in Santa Claus, which both are hours away and Kings Island about 2 hrs.

We have had two theme park deals fall through. 1st with the Old Indiana Fun Park(That premier still owns the property) and Garfield's Adventure America that feel through cause of a bankrupted company trying to start the park.

Does anyone know what theme park company would be good in contacting to get a new park built in the Indianapolis area. I have even thought if Busch Entertainment bought the Indianapolis Zoo that it could become another Sea World or Busch Garden Park. The Indianapolis Zoo is getting it's 1st coaster in 2001(Vekoma Rollerskater) I was hoping maybe this is a start of things to come.

There are many places in Indy a theme park could be started. And I know Hoosiers would love it, and it would bring more revenue into Indianapolis. Any support or help out there would be greately appreciated. Thanks:)

Yeah, what a tough place to be stuck. Right in the middle of 4 CCI's. Whats the problem, cant decide which 2 you want to go ride? :)

I would love to be in central Indiana. Holiday World is amazing even though I haven't been there. Michigan's Adventure isn't too far away. Indiana Beach isn't so bad. 2 hrs from King's Island is great. A trip to the Point isn't horrible. Great America is a great 2 day summer trip. You can't expect a park 30 min. away from you, we just can't have parks everywhere. Live with what you got, it is good.

Not to far away from Michigan's Adventure? I live in Michigan and it's still 4-5 hours away. Cedar Point is closer. Central Indiana is farther away from Michigan's Adventure than 6 or 7 parks around it.
