Indianapolis Advertising

There was an artice in the Indianapolis Business Journal talking about theme park advertising in Indianapolis. Heres the link. What I thought was interesting was that they said Six Flags sold 330 acres in boone county. Not sure if that is where Old Indiana was at. I never knew Indianapolis was that big of deal to amusement parks.
Old Indiana is in Thorntown Indiana, it's in the Northwest area somewhat. It's like 20-30 from my house so I really hope they do something with the area.

You can hear the laughter, you can hear the mighty roar. From the brickyard down in Indy to the white Chicago shore. It's a rollin', twistin', turnin' and might we both suggest. You get you fanny ridin' on the Cornball Express!

Yeah that article sucks though. They say Gwazi a " wooden dueling coaster that hits speeds in excess of 100 mph!" I laughed so hard at that article when I read it. The guy had no idea what he was talking about.

The former CPJunkie. Damn thing wouldn't let me log in. New email and here I am. :)

Uh actually thats a different article than the one I posted you are thinking of. But Busch Gardens does advertise the 100mph. They put the 2 speeds together and say they pass at that much. So I could see the guy getting confused pretty easily.

Thorntown---site of the former Old Indiana---is in Boone County. Interesting news that Six Flags sold the property.
I read that article twice and didn't find even a mention of Gwazi. Are you refering to the same article?
