Indiana inspectors pressed to keep up with amusement park rides

State inspectors charged with examining the hundreds of amusement park rides set up in Indiana each summer are so busy they typically have only enough time to inspect each ride once a year, a newspaper has found. State officials said they do the best they can to keep up with the volume of rides that must be inspected at least once per year after initial setups.
