I didn't go to IB this weekend but a couple people at the IB club message board went.

I went and was pleasantly surprised by a few things and not so much by some others.

Could you offer some details?

Oh I suppose. I have no prior experience at this park. All the fresh paint was nice. I could tell that they had used the same flavor of paint in multiple areas to save money. The 3-d simulator was boring. The coasters were running fantastically well. The dessert at the skyroom was delicious. The Italian Beef sandwich and large coke was $9. The Falling Star was closed. LoCoSuMo was fun. Frankenstein's castle was a hoot. And to top it all off I went with the best Midwest ACE assistant representative, without him the trip would not have been made.

Any kind of paint is good for Indiana Beach...it really lacked color. From the pictures, it's starting to look very festive! It just goes to show what painting can do to a place to brighten up the mood. The log ride looks amazing now! I'm going to go down here within the next few weeks and get some pics myself :)

The log ride does have a good color scheme. The pink and yellow supports for the skyride though are a bit crazy.

I agree....the yellow supports look ok...but the pink on the top part does look...odd. But hey, I'm not complaining, like I said, they place needed some color, so there you go lol.

You missed the "sponsored by Pepto Bismol" signage? ;)

Frankenstein's castle was a hoot. Did you look up when you got to the end of the balcony? ;)

No I forgot to and Brian did not remind me to. It gives me something to look forward to next time I suppose.

^Don't forget to look straight down too. You have to walk all the way to the railing to see it though. ;)
