Indiana Beach

I was on there website and I saw they closed September 8 why do they close so early? And why dont they have a Halloween event?

They close early, just like a lot of smaller parks who do not get enough attendance after Labor Day. MI Adventure closed Sept. 15...

They are looking at the bottom line - can they make enough money to pay all the employees it takes to run the park.

Very true redman, but how do we explain Kiddieland in Melrose Park being open during the month of October with a Halloween event?

Kiddieland has a much smaller overhead then Indiana Beach does, so there isn't as much risk involved.

Remember where Indiana Beach is located. When kids go back to school, and the crowd at Lake Schaefer thins out, they aren't going to get many people visiting. A Halloween event isn't likely to lure many people to a location as far from any major city as IB.
