Incredible Hulk

What ever happened to the launched lift Coasters? The only one that i know of is The Hulk at IOA. Is there other Coasters like this? I personally would like to see more of this type of coaster.

You need to understand that the launching mechanism on Hulk reportedly doubled the cost of the ride. At the core of the issue is the system that converts electrical to mechanical energy and back. The reason that exists is because the electric company can't spontaneouly provide that much current in that short of an amount of time.

I never really understood why everyone thought that launch was so great anyway. It really wasn't that fast, and didn't suprise anybody. To each his own, I guess.

I thought that the launch was the best part of the ride.

THE LAUNCH DIDN'T SUPRISE ANYBODY?????? That are you talking about? I even knew about the launch and it still hit me like a rock. I think that everybody on my train had no clue about that.
