Incident on Oakwood's Hydro

Invy, I completely agree with your comments on the press. I've heard that the girl fell onto the ground, the water, the boat, from 100ft, from 120ft, that the kid was hit by her, that he fell from the boat, that she was helping him because he was in trouble (can't see how that would have happened as the seats are very high-backed, and he was in front of her).

I simply cannot believe how the BBC were castrated for the Hutton inaccuracy, yet the redtop newspapers, and even 'respected' newspapers sensationalise and mislead and, basically lie.

I really feel for Paddy. He was on the news last night and looked so shell shocked.

Turbo: exactly. That's why your femur (the strongest bone in your body) is what's keeping you in.

Here is an update on the story, they are thinking she might have been trying to get her jacket loose from restraint.

Army Rangers lead the way
Lots of different stories going around, ranging from the fact the 10 year-old was in trouble and she was helping, to her untangling a coat. Either way, I hope the investigation can provide some concrete evidence so that the park, manufacturers and public can be reassured they know what they're dealing with.

The police have renewed their appeal for photos, videos or eye-witness accounts of the accident on Hydro where Hayley Williams sadly died.

I really hope that a clear cause is identified so that nothing like this can happen again. It would be such a shame if the investigation was non-conclusive.
