Inamin's Spillwater?

Sunday, July 28, 2002 7:16 PM
I don't know how many ppl have heard of it, but i know intamin is working on 2 new types of caosters, that are in process... one is the half pipe and the other is called Spillwater. Does anyone know what this does or is like? Even half pipe? I haven't heard much on these, but 2 more rides are coming from intamin and they sound exciting.

The Half Pipe, is Intamin's version of the Vekoma Hammerhead Stall. I don't know about the Spillwater, although, it sounds like there will be water involved in the ride. Possibly an Intamin version of the Premier Water Coaster?

It could very possibly be that, one that makes a very large splash.

Intamin Spillwaters are shoot-the-chute rides. Go to intaminworldwide.com to get a little more information.

It is indeed their shorter (non Perilous Plunge) shoot-the-chutes ride.

But on their site they are working on a new type of Spillwater, wonder what it could be. A water coaster sounds pretty exciting to be from Intamin.

Yea, you people need to read the topics. We are talking about the NEW type of spillwater, not the existing one.

Sorry, but what's an Intamin Half Pipe coaster, and a Vekoma Hammerhead Stall?

They are building an Intamin Halfpipe coaster at Särkänniemi in Finland to open in 2003 as far as I know. The only stat I could find quickly is that it's 30m high.

The new Spillwater they are working on is NOT A COASTER. It is a new branch of the shoot-the-chute flume ride. Like how Perilous Plunge opened up to the River Plunge model.

Hey I just asked a question ok? Perhaps there's other people that don't know what an Intamin Halfpipe coaster is. No need to be an ass about it.
