I have bad luck about weather at amusement parks. Almost every time I go to Canada's Wonderland, it pours and I have to hide in the arcade or La Cantina until it stops! Last year, when I went to SFDL, I was in line for S:ROS with my friend, we were right next to the wall with the big slits in it waiting for the front seat, and it started POURING!!! (and thunder&lightning) They shut down the ride for about 1 hour. Later in the day, we were in line for Mind Eraser, and it started POURING again, along with very strong gusts of wind! When we finally got on the ride, there were nice big puddles in the seats, because WE GOT THE TRAIN THAT HAD BEEN SITTING ON THE BRAKE RUN THE ENTIRE TIME IT WAS RAINING!!!! It was fun anyway. I'm going to SFDL tomorrow (9/2) and there is a chance of rain again. Am I cursed? Yes!
I love going to darien lake , or any park when its just raining though. Its awesome riding superman and getting pelted by the rain (IMO). Also it seems like the water makes it run faster and smoother, now thats a plus.
Yeah, you're right! Mind Eraser was AWESOME despite the wet shorts :) One time, I went on Magnum at CP in the rain, didn't like that one too much with the rain in my face...
Sure, after I tell you I'm going to Darien Lake tomorrow, you tell the bad luck story.

I rode Hulk in the rain.That was a lot of fun.I couldnt open my eyes cause of the rain.That was the best.
Its funny you mention rain. I was working about a half hour from Dorney today and decided to go after work for two hours or so since I have a season pass. I got their at 6pm I saw Steel Force running as I entered the parking lot. By the time I got to the enterance it started to lightning so of course everything shut down. I was there my two hours but didn't get a single ride. I guess I'll try again tomorrow (if it's sunny).

Rain is fun, but snow is even better!!
A couple of years ago I was at Canada's Wonderland at the season pass holders day, riding the Skyrider, and just as we crested the hill, it started snowing! It was so cool, because as we went down the first drop, the snowflakes would hit me in the face and instantly melt. The whole place looked amazing with the snow and the rides running. Unfortunatly, it was only brief, (it had stopped snowing by the time the train got back to the station), and none of the snow stayed on the ground it all melted, but it was still really fun.
