In search of a Tumble Bug

Just wondering if anyone knows what Kings Island did with the Tumble Bug they removed. Was it scrapped or sold or put into storage? Also the disposition of any of the other Bugs from anywhere that were removed in the past. I've heard rumors of Whalom's being removed, but not where or by who. Thanks....

Coaster & Amusement Park Christmas cards, clothing, gifts, and stocking suffers, now available here.

If you want to buy one, there's a salvagable one wasting away at CLP...definitely the only part of the park that could be saved.

CLP being Chippewa Lake, not Conneaut Lake! Conneaut's is still very much alive!

Is a Tumble Bug a Rotor? (there's one of those at Kennywood)'

Love your sig Arrow Guy!

I prefer the pears in the heavy syrup. They're just good.

Kennywood still has one and Geauga Lake used to have a kiddie version. Don't know if it still operating or not.

Oh sorry, I should have specified! I forgot CLP could stand for two completely different parks...thanks for the correction, Arrow Guy.

You can see a picture of an operating Tumble Bug (Kennywood's) here: http://www.joyrides.com/kennywood/full/turtle.htm

I was confused too because I had Canobie Lake Park in mind (that makes three CLP's). No tumble bug there, but I remember riding the one at Whalom Park as a child and how much fun it was. I hope it was not destroyed when the park closed.
