In-Park Entertainment Audition Help

Has anyone here on the 'buzz been in Love at First Fright at any Six Flags park, and especially SFGAm? Or any of the other musical theater reviews there? How exactly does the audition process work? How good does a male whose got a good pop-y singing voice and can dance very well have? Thanks for your help!

Thanks! I'm just confused whether to register as a singer or dancer, and if registering as a dancer precludes you from singing. Hmm...guess I'll have to make a phone call to HR over there...

This is a somewhat fascinating topic, and I don't recall it ever being mentioned on this site before.

My sister is an excellent dancer, and a decent (don't tell her I said that) singer. She went to an audition for the Disney Parks last December in Atlanta. There were roughly 500 people auditioning, but they didn't say what roles were available. At the end, they picked my sister as the only girl to make it.

"Congratulations, you get to be Cinderella in Tokyo for 3 months!"

"When?"

"Starting in May."

"But I'll be in college then."

"Oh. Too bad."

They literally audtitioned HUNDREDS of people and didn't pick ANYONE. Just thought I'd share.

Oh, and I was picked to be in the Collegiate All-Star Jazz Band at DL about 3 summers ago...until I found out what it pays.

I've actually heard six flags pays fairly well-80-120 a day for about an 8 hour day. It's better than a fast food joint.

Kelly Clarkson worked as a singer/dancer/actor at Six Flags Over Texas!

What is Cedar Point doing for the 2003 season, and what is your ideal role?
