In House Design

I was wondering if the In House Design people are located near the park, or are they at Six Flags or Paramounts main office?

Thanks in advance for all those who answer!

Why, do you plan on stalking them?  You sick..................freak!

Paramounts design offices are in downtown Charlotte. Six Flags has engineering offices at Magic Mountain and Great Adventure.
Spacecase8310: i am going to see if i can be an intern for the In House Design people at six flags or paramounts over the summer. I am majoring in engineering and architecture, so i want to have a little taste of what it is like. I am going to work for a company that designs park layouts, ride theming, and maybe a few coasters every now and then.
I've not heard of Paramount or Six Flags having "interns" (a dirty word around DC ;)). That's not to say you shouldnt try. In any case, dont overlook Disney. I *know* they have a fairly expansive summer intern/co-op program. If I had found out about it earlier in *my* schooling, I'd have applied...

Besides, if we were really shutting down people we disagreed with, would Jeremy (2Hostyl) still be around? :) I think not. - Jeff 1/24/02

But jeremy, by using "interns" couldn't Paramount and SF come up with some interesting new "elements"...like my personal fav..."The Monica Lewpinsky"...

Oh yeah like the hidden "Levy Turn" or the dark and damp "Cigar Tunnel" (I hope that makes the PG-13 rating) ....

Unfortunately, Paramount's Design business in Charlotte only hires year-round workers. I talked to one of the higher-ups there about this (i live 20 minutes away) and they said they do not hire for the summer for various reasons.

speaking of which, have you seen the tunnel entrance on Rutshebanen (sp?)...trains enter the tunnel underneath a giant cut-out woman, between the feet...mighty Freudian, if you ask me...

Scandalous, just truly scandalous. By the way hostyl, were you ever a part of NSBE?? my major was Aero and I went to the Boston (1997) convention

Yeah I know, I aint no good...
But YES I was big into NSBE as an undergrad. I was even chapter president for a year and a half (U of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; first ever "Distinguished Chapter of the Year" 1996). However, I did *not* go to the Boston convention. Went to Nashville (1996), Anaheim (1998) and even Kansas City (1999) but not Boston. It's actually still a bit of a 'sore spot' (drama).

Anyway, ever enter the Boieng flight contest? (I was an Aero too and never did...)
