Impulses been down for inspection?

Just out of curiosity's sake...

Has anyone who has visited a park with an Impulse within the last two weeks (other than Wicked Twister) found it to be down for the day? Or multiple days for that matter? After seeing a few trip reports that mentioned V2 at SFGAm and SUE being down for the day, I'm wondering if the WT situation has prompted an inspection of all Impulses.

I think it's the other way around... Wicked Twister has had track problems, while the originals are having train problems... draw your own conclusions as to what "problems" specifically means, but I know of alteast one Impulse Version 2.0 that has had train "problems".

When I went to SFWoA on thursday, Superman was down the entire day. 2 days before that, Wicked Twister was down until evening hours. I noticed people climbing the front spike.

I called SFMW and they state our V2 is open.

SFMW V2 is open ofcourse and now the holding brake is up from 50% to 75%. So sorry you guys are having trouble! ;)

In a recent TR I heard V2 was down for the day. But I guess it's back online. The break needs to work!

coastermaster. You still think that calling to see if a ride is open they accually know? andwill answer honestly? You can probably call a Six Flags Park, ask if a ride is open that has been down for the season is open, and they will say it is open...

Actually S:UE was running until about noon on Thursday then it was down all day. I knew I should have ran over there immediately.

S:UE's mid day shut downs have nothing to do with this supposed inspection... so there ;)

Zero-G is right, the reason SUE and V2 were closed had nothing to do with Wicked Twister's track problems.

V2 SFGAm seems to be doing just fine now.
