Impulse Height Requirment

I was just wondering if all Intamin Impulse coasters had a height requirment of 52 inches. I went to CP just this past week and found out my sister who is around 53 could ride WT. I had always thought that they were all 54 because volcano is 54. I consider them a very similar ride so why is volcano have a higher height requirment. We were at SFWOA a while back and we didn't even try to get her on because we thought she needed to be 54. Also while talking about Itamin and height requirments, does anyone remember when MF required you to be 54. I think it was the first year and now you just have to be 48. I would have never thought any park would lower one. I have only see the requirment go up. What caused CP to see that people 48 are just as safe as someone 54.

V2 at SFGAm = 54" (Doesnt make sense but what can you do)

Obviously Intamin set the minimum to 52" for the impulses. Why SFGAm chooses 54", I have no idea.
