What is the best way to build an Impulse Coaster?
-------------
YVAN EHT NIOJ -The Simpsons
I've recreated SUE by using Inverted track & having it curve upwards as steeply as possible, then click on extreme right turn to produce a 'spiral spike.' Set the coaster to Launched mode, you can put a near vertical spike at the other end. However with launched mode, cannot travel backwards!

Home Park - Wonderland Sydney, Australia, featuring;
1) The Demon - 1988 Vekoma Boomerang
2) The Bush Beast - 1985 KEC Woodie (Clone of PKD's Grizzly)
3) Beastie - 1985 KEC Junior Woodie
4) More steel coasters please!!! Preferably a B&M Masterpiece!
I have done the same thing as CoasterGod.

Westside!!!
hopefully if chris desides to come out with RCT2 the main thing he will add is hyper/giga/inverted from intamin i so desperately need them for my parks.

are you ready to go vertical?...V2 SFMW 2001 ...
I do the same way for Impulses the rides end up being like 10 seconds though
Most Impulses I design on RCT turn out to be not very exciting!
Same problem with me.
I cheated.
I built a Steel Looping Coaster with a reverse-incline lift as the straight spike, and then built a twisted spike. Not inverted, and doesn't run right, but fun anyway.
Check this out... I just made it. Be sure you have the Drexler patch because this one is highly modified:

Is it just me or does Hypersonic look like one of those coasters you would see on Looney Toons?
i Build mine by using the Inverted track and using a trainer to put in reveerse incline shuttle mode
Why don't you use SLC and put on reverse incline shuttle?
I usually do the same thing as coastergod, but at the other end I build a seperate peice of coaster track lined up (vertical drop) so thats its vertical and looks more realistic. It really doesnt matter because the train wont ever go up it anyway.
I used a trainer, and used the vertical drop coaster instead of an inverted. Using the trainer, I made 10 cars on the train, set the coaster to reverse-incline launch, had a steep chainlift to height marker 61. At the other end of the station, I had a vertical spire.
That is my version of Linear Gale.
Next to it, I built the same thing, but not too far up on the vertical spire, I made it have a steep twist, then a steep (not vertical) track, followed by steep twist, and did this to marker 61 again, going around my Linear Gale. That is how my Vertical Velocity/S:UE is.
If your interested, e-mail me and I'll send you the park. The main problem with this is it's not inverted, but they are both rideable and fun.

V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!
Hey TrBiggar, I am interested in that park that you have with Vertical Velocity. Could you p;ease send it to me at Coastermike16@aol.com
I use Vekoma inverted track and just have it go Reverse inclkine mode, it works the best , and i have over 100 peeps waiting in line For my SUE

May 25'Th You'll Be Seeing Deja Vu Over And Over And Over...
Hey Josh, your coaster sucks. Jusk kidding. God try!

Thrill seekers plummet from 196-feet, fly head-over-heels at 65 mph over the outside of a vertical loop and a giant 110-foot high boomerang turn with nothing but the sky above their dangling feet. One time forward, one time backward…it’s Déjà Vu.
I have a question. What is a Drexler patch and Dragons IOA and how do i get them?
That S:UE recreation kicks ***.
