I'm going to PKI tomorrow! Any tips, etc.?

I'm going to PKI tomorrow for the first time. Does anyone have recommendations for what to ride first, what seat, etc.? (besides bring earplugs for the gospel music... :) lol)

Also, I found out in another post where the PKI boneyards are. Maybe I'll try to get some pics!

It is going to be packed, if you get there as soon as it opens get on Drop Zone or Tomb Raider first, which ever you prefer, I'd go to Tomb Raider as the line is long and aganozing and I don't know how much you'll like it, so I would start there, just hit whatever looks good at the time and make sure to ride Flight of Fear, the line will loook long, but its not

I was there Monday and it was hot. Don't waste your money on bottled water though. Just ask any restaurant for a glass of water. No cost. As Ninja mentioned above, be sure to hit Flight of Fear, GREAT coaster plus it's air conditioned.

Yes, boycott, boycott, boycott. Don't give that park your money. All they are going to do is use it towards somethig lame like a Jimmy Nutron suit or to trash another ride. Go give it to another park.A park where they will use it for a ride. Rather it be flat or coaster.

WHAT? Don't waste your money at pki? Did it get trashey? Is it now bad. They have great rides there. SOB, Beast, Face off, : ( RIP King Cobra. (The best ride there.) They have a great park. What went wrong or is wrong with it?

The Beast is the most overrated roller coaster ever. If you think about it, it really is lame and nothing to it at all. Yeah given the year it was built but the Racer's have much more to them than the Beast does. Face/Off is a piece. They need to add another car (hehe.) because the line is always out the door and it deff. isn't worth the wait. Son Of Beast is O.K. It would be worth it if it didn't beat the crap out of ya. The only think KI has going for them is Tomb Raider and sadly some people don't like it.

Change your name pkifanatic, if you think about it we get a new ride almost every year. Actually we do, it may not be what you want, but jesus be happy we get soemthing, if you wanna complain about losing a couple rides go to SFKK

PKI is a great park. The Beast is an awesome ride, and even better at night. SOB is great too. Top gun is the best Suspended. FOF is amazing now. The Racers are really fun, and never have a line. Vortex is a great ride if you kno whow to ride it! The flyers are out of control. I do miss King Kobra, but still, PKI is a great park. Clean, and nice-looking. Lots of trees and shade.

What I normally do is start on the left side of the park, and work my way around the edge. This works because you hit the big rides first (with the xception of FOF and TRTR) and the best ride last (Beast, and if you work it right, at night). If you do have extra time, thats when I will go and skip all the small rides (xcept flyers) and ride the big coasters again.
